Crevices for Bats The Kent Bat Box The box should be constructed from untreated rough-sawn timbers, with 2 or 3 crevices - the limit-ing factor being the weight and thickness of the box. The crevices may be any size between 15 and 25mm. Timber should be around 20mm thick. The box should be made to be rainproof and draught-free.
